Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CompliantCA (“the site”), a product of Tremtastic Labs, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. What CompliantCA Is

CompliantCA publishes plain-language guides, analyses of public enforcement data, and free downloadable documents — templates, checklists, and logs — about California workplace-safety requirements. Some documents are delivered by email after you provide an email address. There are no accounts, no subscriptions, and nothing for sale on this site.

The site does not provide legal advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client relationship. We describe published regulations and cite them; we do not certify that any plan, document, or program is compliant or legally sufficient. Documents you download from this site are starting points. Review them, and your program, with your safety officer or attorney before adoption.

4. Accuracy

We write from the text of the regulations and from public government data, cite our sources, and correct errors when we find them. Regulations change, and enforcement data is amended after we retrieve it. We do not guarantee that any page is complete, current, or error-free. The regulation text published by the State of California controls over anything written here.

5. Free Documents

Documents offered on this site are free. You may use them in your own business, including editing them for your own workplace. You may not sell them or republish them as your own.

6. Acceptable Use

Do not misuse the site — including attempting unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, or submitting email addresses that are not yours.

7. Limitation of Liability

The site and its documents are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or its documents, including any penalties, fines, or legal consequences relating to your compliance obligations. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid us to use the site, which is zero.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
